"The War has begun!" This catch line was used by Epic to help with the advertising of its latest addition to the Unreal Tournament franchise, Unreal Tournament III. Well this past weekend, players from around the world embraced this very phrase. UT3 had its first international gathering event, created by the players for the players. This event was called "Warfare of the Nations." During this event, players from two particular Warfare communities pitted their gaming skills against each other in all out International Warfare. This event was broadcasted and commentated live by the Electronic Revolution broadcasting network, E-Rev.TV.

The two communities had one very big thing in common, their love of the newly created Warfare game type in UT3. The biggest difference in the communities lies only in geographical locations. The North American players who were featured in the community came from ZeroFrag.com, while the other team consisted of European players who called JustWarfare.com their home for everything Warfare related.
